Solutions and development
I design and write custom software and solutions that use AI inside real processes, with the checks already built in. The evidence of what I build is presidio365, the software platform I created for care homes, cooperatives and professional firms in Italy.
Governance and compliance
An inventory of the AI systems actually in use, internal rules and roles, risk assessment and the obligations of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), and the set-up of an AI management system according to ISO/IEC 42001. AI and personal data under the GDPR, as a data protection officer: legal basis, impact assessment, agreements with suppliers. Review of AI-assisted documents before they reach a client or an authority.
Training
Courses on the controlled use of AI for companies, teams and professionals. In Italy I also teach courses for schools on the AI Act, data protection and the Ministry of Education guidelines.
Why “under control”
I use artificial intelligence every day, and every day I check it. Whoever signs a document answers for it, whatever tool wrote it. That is why the checking method comes before the tool.
In Italy the law has said so explicitly since 10 October 2025: in the intellectual professions AI may be used only for instrumental and supporting activities, the intellectual work must remain prevalent and the client must be informed (art. 13, Law no. 132 of 23 September 2025).
This page too was prepared with the help of AI. Texts, sources and references have been checked by me.
The method in four rules
- Sources get opened. If an answer cites a rule, I open the rule. If it cites nothing, the sentence does not go into the document.
- The check covers everything. Not a sample, not “the important parts”. Errors sit where nobody looks.
- Look at the result, not the file. The PDF gets opened, the pages get turned, the table gets read row by row.
- Numbers get recounted. Totals, dates, amounts: redone with a different tool from the one that produced them.
Working with clients abroad
I work remotely, in English, French and Italian. Two kinds of work travel well beyond Italy: custom software and AI solutions, and AI governance under rules that apply across borders, such as the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and the GDPR.
